Do you have a lot of eraser shavings, broken pieces of mechanical pencil lead, and little pieces of paper on your desk? I usually do after a long physics problem set. I wish I had found this robo vacuum sooner (now that I graduated, my desk is too clean). Robo Vacum is a battery-operated (2 AA) gadget that picks up all those little unwanted debris on your table.
I ripped up some pieces of antibacterial tissue paper for my little demo:
Simply turn on the robot by pressing the blue button on top of its head. Then glide the robot gently along the area that you want it to clean up. Here’s the result:
The robot picked everything up! As long as the mess you want to pick up is dry (like crumbs and eraser shavings), then this little guy works wonders.
Robo Vacum comes in three colors: red, gray, and blue. I got the gray one, because I think it looks more like R2D2. I got it in a small toy store for $14.99, but I found it online on Amazon.com
in case you want one of your own!
My only complaint is that I initially thought the robot would move by itself, but you have to move it over the area you want cleaned. It’s still really cute though!
