Quick Hair Trick: Updo without any hair ties, clips, & pins!

I recorded a video almost a year and a half ago about how I put my hair up quickly without any hair ties, clips, pins, etc. Since then, my video has gotten over 240,000 views! I came up with this hair trick back in middle school. I've always had long hair, so I wanted to come up with a way to quickly get my hair away from my face during class or whenever I didn't have a hair tie. Blue and Yellow Look + Gone Fishin’!

I went fishing for the first time on Sunday. I felt like wearing my favorite Cal jacket (I graduated from UC Berkeley, so I have a lot of Cal items haha). My elementary school, high school, first and second universities have some kind of blue and yellow/gold combination as school colors, so I really love these colors together! Olive Green and Brown Look

This is my first look using MAC "Sumptuous Olive" E/S. This color is somewhat similar to Greensmoke E/S that I used in my last green look in that they are both olive shades of green. I like both of these colors when I want a subtle green color on my eye. Sumptuous Olive has a strong golden color to it, so I used it with Gorgeous Gold E/S to bring out the gold even more. I came up with a bright blue eye shadow with hot pink lipstick look to match a colorful dress I wore yesterday. The eye shadow application is easy -- just use windshield wiper motions to apply each of the four colors on the lid. Read more...

When I saw this dress at Forever 21, I immediately thought "ooh that's Satin Taupe!" Satin Taupe is the name of a grayish-brown MAC eye shadow. :) I wore this dress when I spent the day with my relatives in LA last weekend. We were going to church and then celebrating my Uncle's birthday right after, so I figured this outfit would be nice for both. Read more...
