There are both good and bad things about this pen. The water-based quality makes it easy to wipe off mistakes, but it also causes it to crack if you put it on too thick. I just had to find a way for them to work for me -- and that's using them to tip my nails to get the curve I want and then going over it quickly with a similar colored nail polish to prevent my tips from cracking when I put the clear top coat.

The curvy stickers don't work for me either. Do you cut your own curve on the regular tape? I've never thought of using regular tape before. What a good idea! Take a picture next time you do it -- I want to see how it looks! :D Have a great Spring Break!!!

Hi Wycee! I use regular tape because the curvy lines are too curvy for my nails!
And I have the same problem with the left hand, but I will definitely give the nail art pen a try!

Also, I thought Sally Hansen were pretty good, maybe problem is that I put in on quickly and run off somewhere since I am always in a rush. I'll try 2 coats now and a clear top coat (since I am on Spring Break and actually have time to breathe!) to see how long it lasts :)

Thanks!

Hi Ivelina! Do you use those curvy white stickers made for nails or just regular tape? The pens make it easy to make the curve I want (or at least make it easy to wipe off and start over again haha). However, holding the pen with my left hand can get a bit tricky, since I'm right-handed. To get better control when painting my right hand, I hold the pen still on my left hand and then move my right hand instead.

My nail polish usually goes at least 1 week without chipping -- sometimes even 2 weeks. Do you use both base and top coats? One nail polish brand that seems to last forever (for me at least) is Sally Hansen HD polish. I have the one called BLU, and I apply 2 coats to each nail. :)

By the way, can you recommend a nail polish that does not start to chip in 1-2 days? Or is that pretty much normal...
