On Saturday, March 6, 2010, I held my first makeup event for nerdygirlmakeup.com in San Francisco with the help of my sisters — Wyette with makeup and Kimmi with cooking hors d’oeuvres.

I had so much fun meeting new people and doing makeovers. Each of the gals who got a makeover sent me information prior to the event about what type of look they wanted, and my sister and I worked together to make each look different.

Here are some pictures of me mixing custom foundation and matching it to the skin color of one of the guests:

This is what I was doing between makeovers — cleaning brushes, tools, and makeup.

We had a total of 12 guests that came out to the event to watch and/or get a makeover. We also had a stylist giving fashion advice as well! My mom also stopped by to show her support (thanks, Ma! <3).

There was a before and after photo shoot for each of the makeovers (courtesy of my photographer/boyfriend Greg). I will be showcasing one makeover per day for the next few days, so stay tuned!
