When I saw this dress at Forever 21, I immediately thought “ooh that’s Satin Taupe!” Satin Taupe is the name of a grayish-brown MAC eye shadow. This probably means that I know my MAC colors a little too well when I start using the MAC names to describe colors around me.

I wore this dress when I spent the day with my relatives in LA last weekend. We were going to church and then celebrating my Uncle’s birthday right after, so I figured this outfit would be nice for both.

The dress was $19.80, and it has black ribbon along the neckline with some flowers (made of the same ribbon) along one side. The sleeveless cardigan I wore on top of the dress was $22.80, and it was pretty much my “jacket” the whole day since it was hot outside!

And in case you’re wondering, for my makeup that day I used Satin Taupe! It’s the color I applied on my outer V and blended along my crease.

I also got to meet my cousin Sammie for the first time. I captured this picture of her when she was watching Ponyo in the living room. She is such a cutie!
