MAC Pearlglide Intense Eye Liners

MAC Pearlglide Intense Eye Liners are part of the Art Supplies collection that launched in stores last Thursday, April 1, 2010. These come in 6 shades, and I swatched each one here:

My favorite is “Undercurrent”, a beautiful blue teal. My second favorite is “Designer Purple”, because it’s very vibrant. I wasn’t too excited about “Black Line” and “Almost Noir”, because the former has a lot of gold in it (I like my black liners to be very dark black) and the latter has some red tones which I try to avoid since I’ve found my eye area to be very sensitive to certain types of red pigment.

After looking at these pencils, I decided to buy 3 of them: Undercurrent, Designer Purple, and Industrial. However, Industrial was already sold out when I went to the MAC store the same day this collection was released! So I ended up getting Petrol Blue, and I think it’s a nice navy color (though I still love the brightness of Industrial).

Here’s a look using Designer Purple on my upper lash line, and Undercurrent on my lower waterline:

If you like any of these pencils, I suggest you act fast! Undercurrent is already sold out online!
