One of my Nerdy Girl Makeup fans sent me an e-mail with pictures of her makeup when she tried my Peacock Makeup Look I posted a few days ago. She used drugstore makeup for the entire look! I think she looks fabulous.
I purchased a Temptu AIRbrush Makeup System, because I love its portability and the fact that I don’t have to clean out the airbrush needle after each use. The Temptu airbrush system uses a special type of gun that connects to AIR Pods that contain makeup such as foundation, blush, or highlighter. Temptu just released two Limited Edition Enhance Kits for this summer. Enhance kits come with two AIR Pods (a blush and a highlighter) for $50. I got the “Summer Glam” kit that comes with blush in “406 Blushing Coral” and highlighter in “306 Sunset Glow”.
I bought these shoes for my graduation that’s taking place today at 1pm. They are Betsey Johnson shoes, and the style name is “Joe Shoes with Ribbon Bow”. I got these at Nordstrom for $149.95. I love things with bows and sparkles. When I graduated from UC Berkeley, I wore heels with sparkles on them. Now that I’m graduating again, I’ll have bows on my ankles! Yay!
This is a retro eyeshadow look with extended eyeliner. White eyeshadow helps create a dramatic contrast with the black eyeliner as well as black mascara, making your lashes stand out more too. I paired this EOTD with red lipstick to keep it simple. I didn’t wear any blush. I wore it with a black and white stripped dress.
I first tried Hairloc extensions in the beginning of January 2010, and I’ve been happy with the quality of the extensions overall. I went to the salon once in the past 5 months to move the extensions back up near the roots of my hair, but other than that these extensions have held up and retained the funky colors I wanted (which usually wash out in 1 to 2 weeks if I colored my actual hair). If you plan to try Hairloc extensions, here are the Do’s and Don’ts to make your extensions last as long as possible!
