I used a gray matte eyeshadow in this Eye of the Day (EOTD) called “Copperplate”. This MAC eyeshadow is a great buildable shade — you can apply it lightly on your outer V and crease to create a nice daytime look, and then add more to your outer V to quickly make your look more dramatic for nighttime.

- Apply MAC Paint Pot in “Soft Ochre” on entire lid.
- Apply MAC Pigment in “Golden Lemon” (dry) on lower lid and blend on and just above crease.
- Use a gray eyeshadow like MAC E/S in “Copperplate” on outer V and blend along crease.
- Apply MAC E/S in “Ricepaper” as highlight.
- Line upper lash line with a black color, like Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner in “Black Ink”.
- Curl your lashes and apply mascara to both your upper and lower lashes.

Very nice- yellow tones and golds are so often overlooked in makeup, but it really zaps life into eyes with the contrast!
Thanks Valeree! I love gold eyeshadow — I’m thinking about wearing it during my graduation ceremony in 2 weeks.
wow this is the exactly what I’ve been looking for !
I thought that grey colour would not go along with yellowish colours.
it looks just fine !
Hi Lynchette! Thanks!
