    Maker Faire 2010 + Haul

    Maker Faire made its way to the Bay Area this past weekend. I want to share some pictures with you all, including nerdy/cute/crafty stuff I hauled throughout the day. If you aren't familiar with Maker Faire, it's the world's largest DIY (Do It Yourself) festival, filled with many exhibits and DIY kits that you can buy. It's a wonderful environment for learning, being creative, and exploring arts, crafts, engineering, science, and technology. As a nerdy girl, I truly appreciate events like this and seeing those that are young (and young at heart) really getting into technology. Read more...

    Blinc Kiss Me Mascara is a different kind of mascara -- it forms small water-resistant "tubes" around your lashes. I recommend this mascara for those of you who like natural looking lashes with just a bit more length.
