I just got back from Las Vegas late last night. I was there on vacation for a few days, and I got to watch some shows, play my favorite Wheel of Fortune slot machines, and visit areas outside of Las Vegas (Hoover Dam, Valley of Fire, and Death Valley). Here’s a fun makeup look with feather-accented false lashes that I wore while walking around Las Vegas Strip on Tuesday:

EYES
- MAC Paint Pot in “Soft Ochre” (entire lid)
- MAC Pro E/S in “Bright Sunshine” (inner corner, tear duct, and inner lower lash line)
- MAC Limited Edition E/S in “Sweet & Punchy” (center lid)
- MAC E/S in “Electric Eel” (outer V and blend along outer half of crease)
- MAC E/S in “Lucky Green” (outer and middle lower lash line; blend where it meets Bright Sunshine)
- MAC E/S in “Ricepaper” (highlight)
- Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner in “Black Ink” (upper lash line)
- MAC Eye Kohl in “Rosemary & Thyme” (lower waterline)
- Lancome Oscillating Mascara (top and bottom lashes)
- Make Up For Ever Faux Eyelashes in “114 Emily” (apply with Duo Eyelash Adhesive along upper lash line)
CHEEKS
- Benefit Bronzing Powder in “Hoola” (contour)
- MAC Powder Blush in “Fleur Power” (on apples)
LIPS
- MAC L/S in “Vegas Volt” (one of my all-time favorite MAC lip sticks!)

I spent a couple hours at the MAC Pro store located in The Forum Shops at Ceasars. This MAC location has a special place in my heart, because this was the first Pro store I ever visited (even though the San Francisco location is much closer to me).

Here are the names of the items I purchased in case you’re interested in a particular color you want to see in an upcoming look (though I’m sure I’ll eventually get to all of them at some point haha). The names are in order of how they are shown in this picture:

The top 3 rows (left to right) are MAC Eye Shadow Refill Pans in:
- Chrome Yellow, Aqua (Pro), Lucky Green, Juxt, Kelly (Pro)
- Dazzlelight, Jest, Honesty, Bronze, Mulch
- Patina, Plumage, Prussian, Nehru, Typographic
On the bottom left, I got two empty MAC Pro palettes, one that holds 15 eye shadow refill pans and one that holds 6 blush pans.
The bottom center starts with MAC false lashes in “41 Lash” followed by these MAC lipsticks:
- Metal Maven (Frost – pale frosted silver; Limited Edition)
- Snob (Satin – light pinkish mauve)
- Bronzilla (Frost – frosted mid-tone yellow brown)
- Fetish (Frost – intense brown with copper shimmer)
- Icon (Frost – muted taupe brown with silver shimmer)
- Crosswires (Cremesheen – clean pinky orange)
The bottom right are MAC blush pro palette refill pans in (left to right, top to bottom):
- Cubic, Sincere
- Melba, Breath of Plum
- Cantaloupe (Pro), Rhubarb (Pro)
While I was in Las Vegas, I watched two shows. On Saturday night, I saw Terry Fator & His Cast of Thousands at The Mirage. Terry Fator (shown on the left) won America’s Got Talent in Season 2, and he is an awesome ventriloquist who can impersonate celebrity voices as well as singing — all with his mouth closed! I also saw the famous illusionist David Copperfield on Tuesday night. They didn’t allow any photography during the show (unlike Terry Fator’s show), so the picture on the right is the best I could do. There was one stunt where David Copperfield disappeared and magically reappeared right in front of me though.

That is a lot of MAC stuff you purchased!
The eyeshadow looks gorgeous on you! You are so talented at applying eye makeup. I love the highlight you used on your brow bone. I need to purchase Rice paper now!!! It’s gorgeous!
Ricepaper is one of my favorite highlight colors! I love using it when I wear blues and/or greens. Let me know when you try it out!
Wycee, after reading your post I was SO excited to visit the MAC store in Caesars on a trip to Vegas in July! I was so happy to go there, it’s like Disneyland for a MAC addict like myself. I was on a budget so I was really good, but I came back to an announcement in the newspaper that they’re opening one up here in Pleasanton! YAY!! No more going out to Brentwood. I was hoping the next time you do an event you could possibly message me to let me know. I would LOVE to have you do my makeup and I know I have a couple friends that would be stoked too. I have to say that of all the artists I’ve seen, your blending is the tops! You somehow always make the colors prismatic. Thank you for the time you take to teach us fellow geeks!
Awww, thanks Cynthia!
I’m so glad you were able to visit the MAC Pro store in Las Vegas! I laughed at your Disneyland comment, because it is SO true! haha I haven’t been to the Brentwood location — do they sell MAC Pro items there too? That’s definitely great news about a new Pleasanton location.
I’ll definitely keep you in mind if I have any events in the future!
How could you ever go wrong with MAC !! Love love love them! such fun colorS!!! next time youre in town stop by and see me!!! loves-eyelasheslasvegas.com
Hi! What foundation do you use? =)
Hi J. Rouge,
I have a couple favorites (including airbrush foundations), so I can’t remember exactly which one I wore here since it was almost a year and a half ago. However, I think this is the Make Up For Ever HD Invisible Cover Foundation.
