Although socks with heels have been popping up on runways, I haven’t really followed this trend. However, I like finding items that can totally transform wardrobe or accessories that I already have (much like the versatile American Apparel items I wrote about in a previous Fashion Friday post). I went to a sock store and bought a cute pair of Betsey Johnson socks that has a nice design down the front and a little pink rose adorned on the top. I like how this sock transforms an old pair of black high heels and makes them look like boots!

The heels I’m wearing are Guess stiletto pumps in style “Carrie” — I have a few pairs of this same pump in different colors, because they are so comfortable (as comfortable gets for stilettos). This picture shows the dramatic difference these socks make to these heels:

Other than these, the times I wear ankle-length socks are when I wear them with tennis shoes. Check out my super cool tennis socks haha :
