If you like playing with Legos and you are a fan of Pictionary, then you’ll love Lego Creationary! I bought and played this game over the weekend, and it’s so much fun — so much fun that I wanted to write a Nerdy Stuff post about it.
The picture on the right shows the game pieces, which are all types of Lego pieces, including wheels and Lego people!

You will put your imagination, creativity, building, and guessing skills to the test! The object of the game is to guess what your opponents are building as well as to build well enough for others to guess what you’ve made. You get points for guessing correctly and if others correctly guess your creation.
This is how one of the game cards looks like (as well as the dice below):

There are four categories depicted by a special colored icon: Nature (green), Buildings (red), Things (Blue), and Vehicles (yellow). Everyone takes turns building — when it’s your turn, you roll a dice (made of Legos, of course) and take a card. The dice determines the category, which also acts as a “clue” as to what you’ll be building. You will then build the picture on the card that corresponds to the selected category while the others guess. In the picture above, I rolled the dice and got the Things category, so I had to build a bed.
For fun, here are some of my creations for you to guess. The cards fall under one of three levels of difficulty: easy, medium, and hard. The picture on the left is easy (Vehicle category) and, the one on the right is medium (Nature category):

And here’s one from the hard level cards in the Vehicle category:

Note: The Lego girl is not to scale with the vehicle.
I won’t tell you what they are, since I figured it’d be more fun to have you guess! Leave a comment with your guesses, and I’ll let you know if you’re right!

Lego rocks! I really wish I’d kept all mine from when I was small.
Have you seen the video of the Lego printer that a computer programmer built on YouTube? It’s truly AMAZING!!! Check it out.
That sounds so much fun. (:
My guesses:
Easy – Ambulance
Medium – Strawberry
Hard – A tram/hanging cable car?
I agree, Lolly — Legos are so awesome. I don’t have any of the ones I had growing up, but I have a bunch of new ones now (including Lego Mindstorms).
Hi Whitney

Easy – Correct!
Medium – Close! Hint: If it was a stawberry, I would have displayed it upside down instead.
Hard – Yes!
Good job! If you lived nearby, I’d totally say we should play sometime haha
My guess:
Easy- Ambulance
Medium- Christmas tree?
Hard- I don’t know what it’s called but after reading the comment above, I would have to say a cable car. I’ve seen one of those in a movie before.
I really like your website by the way.
Thanks Grace! Your Easy guess is correct, and your Hard guess is on the right track — it’s an air tram/gondola lift, which is also referred to as a cable car (though I usually associate cable cars with the ones on the ground in San Francisco).
Here’s another hint for Medium: it’s edible –but it’s not a strawberry!
Is the medium one a watermelon?
Yes, it is a watermelon!
