Lush is known for their fresh handmade cosmetics. All of their products are made with organic vegetarian ingredients. I’m happy to see more facial products come out this year, such as the Lip Scrub I wrote about in a previous post. I picked up one of their new Colour Supplements in “Light Yellow”. Colour Supplements are multi-purpose base colors — you can use them as foundation, tinted moisturizer, and/or concealer!

I find the texture similar to mousse, and the thickness is great for a medium to full coverage concealer when used alone (on top of moisturizer or under/over foundation). However, you can also use this as a lightweight foundation instead by mixing it with your moisturizer before you apply it on your face. Mixing it with moisturizer dilutes the color and reduces the thickness, so adjust the amount of moisturizer you use based on how much or how little coverage you want.

Colour Supplements come in four colors:
- Light Pink – the lightest and most versatile color
- Dark Pink – the darkest color
- Light Yellow – for pale or ivory skin tones
- Dark Yellow – for olive or yellow skin tones
Since I’m using my Colour Supplement mainly as a concealer, I only purchased Light Yellow. If you want to use these as your foundation and your skin tone doesn’t match one of these four colors, you can purchase both of the pinks or both of the yellows to custom mix your perfect shade.
