MAC came out with a new line of Pro products called Acrylic Paint — just in time for Halloween! These new liquid paints are for eyes, face, and body (see the color list for specific usage restrictions). They are silicone based, waterproof, and long wearing.
This look has vivid blue and green colors on the lid that are framed with a dark purplish-blue on the outer V and crease. I also lined my lower waterline with a kohl pencil that matches the bright blue eyeshadow on the lid. I wore this makeup to match my outfit from Fashion Friday: Episode 34.
I got this Rilakkuma Nuigurumi Mini Speaker at Maido, one of my favorite stationary stores. Rilakkuma is the name of a popular Japanese character by San-X. The bear shown here is Rilakkuma’s friend, Korilakkuma (a female white bear), but it also comes in Rilakkuma (a male brown bear) and Kiiroitori (a yellow chick). This mini speaker is great to keep in your purse — it’s extremely lightweight, it works with most audio devices like cell phones and iPods, and it’s super cute!
Vintage makeup looks are inspired by the neutral eyes and red lips that were worn by many of Hollywood’s earliest starlets (Greta Garbo, Vivien Leigh, Judy Garland, and Marilyn Monroe, to name a few). I came up with a Vintage Makeup Look before, but this Vintage Glam look has more drama in the eyes.
This Friday’s outfit features this Jack Creek sweater and Avalon skirt that are both from Hollister Co. The sweater has soft chiffon embellishments along the neckline. The skirt has pockets and tiered layers at the hem. I also wore a bracelet to match the skirt’s floral print.
