CinaPro is a nail art company that makes unique nail decoration kits that are fast and easy to use. You can attach these nail decorations with top coat for a temporary design (like I did). If you want longer lasting results, you can encapsulate them in acrylic or gel. This Nail Art Kit in “Midsummer Dream” is the first Cina kit I tried out:

This “Midsummer Dream” kit ($6.49) comes with real dried flowers in 5 colors (there are 5 flowers of each color). It also has 5 packets of dazzle decorations. I used two types of these dazzle decorations to put around a purple flower on the design I made on my thumbnails.

When I decorate my nails, I first put a base coat and then two layers of nail polish. Once my nail polish is dry, I apply some top coat to the area where I am going to place decorations. I take the orange wood stick (included in the kit) and put top coat on the tip so that it can easily pick up the decorations. Once I finish my design, I seal the entire nail with a layer of top coat.
Since I only sealed these with a top coat I had lying around (an Island Girl brand that I got from an ABC store in Hawaii), my design only lasted for 3-4 days until some of the flower petals started getting scratched off. CinaPro also sells a Nail Art Top Coat that has a thicker formula that helps protect the nail art more effectively than traditional top coats.

Cute! I’ve been changing my polish weekly lately but I hadn’t considered decorations like this. I’ll have to look up where I can buy some.
Thanks Ola! If you’re not used to having decorations on your fingernails though, maybe try them out on your big toenails first (otherwise you might end up touching them a lot if you’re not used to having something with texture on your nails).
