This Friday’s outfit features this Jack Creek sweater ($49.50) and Avalon skirt ($39.50) that are both from Hollister Co. This skirt comes in 5 different designs, and this navy floral one is my favorite (there are 2 other floral designs in turquoise and burgundy as well as 2 plaid designs). Avalon skirts are made of 100% cotton, has tiered layers at the hem, front pockets, and has the Vintage Hollister Wash (the look of being worn without putting in all the effort to make it look that way — similar to how some people like to tear their jeans to make them look worn out… it’s something I don’t particularly do; I just liked the look of this particular fabric).
I got the Jack Creek sweater in navy, but it also comes in two other colors — heather grey and pink, shown below. There are embellishments made of soft chiffon along the “V” neckline, which you can see better in these two pictures:
In the Juniors section at Macy’s stores, there’s an area with a lot of different jewelry and hair accessories that’s part of their “M Style Lab”. I recently bought this green bracelet with white flowers there for $16.00. The white flowers on the bracelet match the white flowers on the skirt.
