Today’s EOTD shows another place where you can add an extra pop of color to your eye makeup. I placed a shimmery blue eye shadow on the outer half of my lower lash line — an unexpected color that becomes noticeable when you make eye contact. Here are the steps to do this eye shadow look!

- Apply a primer like Too Faced Shadow Insurance on your entire lid.
- Apply a shimmery light gold eye shadow on your inner corner, tear duct, and inner half of lower lash line. I used MAC Limited Edition E/S in “Flip”.
- With a dense eye shadow brush, pack on a bright yellow color on the center of your lid, blending where it meets the light gold. I used MAC Pro E/S in “Canary Yellow”.
- Apply a dark red-brown eye shadow (like MAC E/S in “Mulch”) on your outer V, and blend along your entire crease.
- Use a fluffy brush to apply a soft creamy beige color as highlight. I used MAC E/S in “Brulé”.
- Now apply the extra pop of a shimmery blue color on the outer half of your lower lash line. Blend in the center where it meets the shimmery light gold color from Step 2. I used MAC E/S in “Freshwater” with a MAC 266 Small Angle Brush.
- Line your upper lash line with a black liquid or gel liner, like my favorite Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner in “Black Ink”.
- Curl your lashes and apply mascara to both your upper and lower lashes. I’m wearing Maybelline The Falsies Volum’Express Waterproof Mascara in “Very Black” — two coats on the top and one coat on the bottom.

Very pretty, I love the pop of yellow
Nice!
