Fashion Friday: Episode 43

At the end of last week’s Fashion Friday where I wrote about the accessories I got as souvenirs in London and Scotland, I mentioned that I also got some accessories in Paris that I would wait to share with you all. Now the time has come! During my vacation, I spent one day in Paris where my boyfriend ended up giving me a beautiful surprise — an engagement ring! :)

My boyfriend-turned-fiancĂ© Greg proposed in front of the Eiffel Tower after surprising me with a lunch date at Le Jules Verne restaurant located on the second floor of the Eiffel Tower (I didn’t even know there was a restaurant up there)! This is how it looked like when he popped the question:

Greg also surprised me with an engagement/souvenir gift from Paris (the ring isn’t actually from Paris — he got it at our nearby Tiffany & Co. :) ). When we first arrived in Paris, we got on the top level of a hop-on hop-off bus that passed by a Louis Vuitton store on the way to Arc de Triomphe. I got so excited when I saw it, because I was in the city where LV began. Greg took a picture of me trying to get a picture of the building (on the left). I was a little sad that the bus didn’t stop there… but little did I know that he had already planned to take me there after the proposal (as shown in the picture on the right).

I picked out an LV Cut Monogram Multicolore Reversible Belt in color “Noir” and the brand new “Annie GM” Monogram Multicolore purse. The belt can be worn either with the colorful canvas side facing outwards or all black (or fuchsia for the white “Blanc” version) smooth leather side with the reversible square buckle. The “Annie” purse comes in three sizes, and this one is the largest since I tend to carry a lot of electronic devices with me (like a portable printer haha). I was instantly drawn to this purse, because of the cute bow on the front. I also love the exterior front pocket that now stores my lip products. :)

So these are my “souvenir” accessories from Paris… and a little bit about my engagement. :) Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and good luck to those of you that are going Black Friday shopping!
