Here’s my holiday party makeup look, complete with glitter and crystals! When applying glitter to your eye makeup, apply all of your eye shadow colors first (if you want to use any), and then apply glitter on top of it with a bit of clear drying eyelash glue. Milani Crystal Eyez Sparkling Eye Shadows that come in 6 different glitter colors are also great to use, because you only need to pat the glitter on with your fingertips (or a brush) and you don’t need any additional glue. I used both cosmetic grade gold glitter with eyelash glue and Milani Crystal Eyes in gold on my eyes. I also applied three flatback crystals in a line that follows the curve of my lower lash line. The crystals on the ends are silver and the one in the middle is a yellow gold to match the silver and gold sequins on my holiday party dress. You can apply these crystals with a small dab of eyelash glue on their flat sides.

Wow, this look is so beautiful
well done! x
Thanks Almeida! Happy Holidays!
It’s amazing how flawless your complexion looks and how precisely your eye makeup is applied. Naturally beautiful and amazing technique! Is the soft ochre the white at the corner of your eye, or do you just use it as a base, and you put white over the soft ochre? I haven’t tried Inglot yet, but I am quite curious about it.
Hi Christine! Thanks
Soft Ochre isn’t actually visible in my makeup looks — the color is almost the same as my skin tone, and I use it just as a base on my entire lid (including highlight). The white eye shadow is actually Inglot Eye Shadow AMC Shine in “35″. I put all my eye shadows on top of Soft Ochre. The Inglot products I’ve tried so far are amazing — I would try more if there was a location nearby. Do you live near one?
I absolutely love your work! I, too have always wants to be a Make Up Artist but is afraid of failure, so I’ve swept that dream under the rug.
Hi Nila,
Thank you! I’m a software engineer that also happens to be a makeup artist. Don’t be afraid to do what you love! At the very least, you are your own makeup artist!
