Milani is one of my favorite drugstore makeup brands. A couple months ago, Milani launched a new lip product called Lip Flash, full coverage shimmer gloss in a jumbo pencil. Lip Flash comes in a total of 8 colors that include deep and electric purples, different shades of pinks, bright reds, and a golden brown. The two colors I have are “05 Hot Flash” (top) and “06 Flashy” (bottom):
Hot Flash is a red with red shimmer, and Flashy is a hot pink with hot pink shimmer. Flashy has more noticeable shimmer than Hot Flash, but I think both look equally great. Since these come in a pencil, you can line, define, and fill in your lips with one product (though I still like blending it out with a lip brush).
Although these pencils claim to be a gloss, they provide a lot more coverage than regular lip gloss that’s typically sheer. Take a look at how these two colors look on my lips below. Also, Lip Flash doesn’t give me that sticky/tacky feeling that regular lip gloss sometimes does (which is why I usually don’t wear lip gloss).
Milani Lip Flash retails for $6.99 each. They are highly pigmented, and they keep my lips moisturized throughout the day. I am really happy with the ones I have, and I’m ready to get them in the other colors! If you’ve tried these out, let me know what you think of them. 
We don’t have Milani in the UK, but British readers may be interested to know that Barry M (available from Superdrug) sell what they call a ‘lip lacquer crayon’ that is pretty much identical to these- I have the ultra-red one, and it’s amazing.

i have lip flash and it is absolutely AMAZING! it truly is hard finding the right lipstick or the right gloss, but this jumbo pencil is everything in one! i would absolutely love to get more seeing as how i only own the red one -__-

Hi Emily! I bought mine at CVS drug store here in the US. I felt the same way when I thought about trying red lipstick for the first time — it just takes some getting used to, and now I love it!
