    Holiday Party Makeup Look

    Here's my holiday party makeup look, complete with glitter and crystals! I used both cosmetic grade gold glitter with eyelash glue and Milani Crystal Eyes in gold on my eyes. I also applied three crystals in a line that follows the curve of my lower lash line.     Fashion Friday: Episode 46

    Every year in December, I buy what I call my "December Dress" -- a semi-formal dress that I wear to the annual Google Holiday Party as well as on my birthday. The outfit I picked out this December is from BCBGMAXAZRIA. The BCBG Sequined Tulle Dress has a sweetheart neckline with gold and silver sequin embellishments all over the dress.     Snowy Winter Makeup Look

    This makeup look was inspired by the white snow and gray skies of winter that I rarely get to see (here in California). I incorporated the white and gray colors of a picture my friend Winnie captured of a snowy winter day into this makeup look. To keep the focus on the eye shadow, I did not use any blush on my cheeks. Any brighter lip color would shift the focus away from the eyes as well, so I used a coral lipstick that's pretty close to my natural lip color. Read more...
