Smokey Purple and Black Look
Posted on February 28, 2011 | 19 CommentsThis makeup look shows how you can easily add another color to transform the classic black smokey eye. I applied a purple color on the outer V and crease to frame the black on the lid. I also put some purple glitter along the lower lash line for fun. :) For the rest of my makeup, I stuck to contouring and highlighting (no blush) and wore a nude lip to keep the focus on my eyes. Fashion Friday: Episode 53
Posted on February 25, 2011 | 5 CommentsI've been on the hunt for a one-shoulder long sleeved dress. The dress has a cute navy blue, periwinkle purple, olive green, and white floral print, and it can be dressed up with heels or dressed down with a pair of tights and boots. Read more... -

Cyan and Dark Blue Look
Posted on February 21, 2011 | 8 CommentsThis is a smokey dark blue makeup look with a touch of cyan on the lid. This is my first look using MAC Pro Pigment in "Hi-Def Cyan". Since these are two different shades of the same color (blue), blending the two is a cinch! I wore this makeup to match my navy blue dress (with splashes of cyan) that I wrote about in a previous Fashion Friday. Read more... -

Posted on February 18, 2011 | Leave a CommentASICS, an athletic footwear company founded in Japan, combined sneakers and boots to create these Onitsuka Tiger Snow Eden shoes! This sneaker boot is based on the Sunotore snowshoe that was developed for the successful Japanese racing ski team in 1972. These boots are so comfortable and cute -- an interesting twist to casual boots! Read more...
