    Smokey Purple and Black Look

    This makeup look shows how you can easily add another color to transform the classic black smokey eye. I applied a purple color on the outer V and crease to frame the black on the lid. I also put some purple glitter along the lower lash line for fun. :) For the rest of my makeup, I stuck to contouring and highlighting (no blush) and wore a nude lip to keep the focus on my eyes.     Fashion Friday: Episode 53

    I've been on the hunt for a one-shoulder long sleeved dress. I came across this Tiled Dance Floor Dress on ModCloth.com, and I ordered it because it looked like it would be fun to wear for a night out. The dress has a cute navy blue, periwinkle purple, olive green, and white floral print, and it can be dressed up with heels or dressed down with a pair of tights and boots. Read more...

    Cyan and Dark Blue Look

    This is a smokey dark blue makeup look with a touch of cyan on the lid. This is my first look using MAC Pro Pigment in "Hi-Def Cyan". Since these are two different shades of the same color (blue), blending the two is a cinch! This sneaker boot is based on the Sunotore snowshoe that was developed for the successful Japanese racing ski team in 1972.
