I’ve been on the hunt for a one-shoulder long sleeved dress. I came across this Tiled Dance Floor Dress on ModCloth.com, and I ordered it because it looked like it would be fun to wear for a night out. The dress has a cute navy blue, periwinkle purple, olive green, and white floral print, and it can be dressed up with heels or dressed down with a pair of tights and boots.
This is one of ModCloth’s dresses that’s under $50 ($44.99). Since my usual size was out of stock, I got a size smaller because I really wanted this dress. When they get more of these in stock, I would actually recommend getting a size larger than your usual size, especially if you are bustier and/or have long legs. I’ve worn this dress twice already (once to a monthly-versary dinner that my fiancé and I have been celebrating since we starting dating (shown on the right), and to an afternoon tea party for my sister’s birthday at Crown & Crumpet in San Francisco). The material is lightweight but durable, and has survived my machine washes (even though it says to hand wash — but make sure to line dry!).

Me and my boyfriend always make sure we say Happy 7th or Happy 27th. We got together on 2/7/2007 so the number 27 is very specal to us. It seems that every time we look at something with numbers like the time or mileage the number 27 is always around. My boyfriend is actually 27 years old right now. ; ) Love is fun!

Aww that’s sweet! My fiancé and I have two days in the month that we always acknowledge as well — one signifying the day that we met and the other the day we became “official” bf/gf. He brings me roses, and we go out to eat.
Having 2 days comes in handy since if we’re too busy one day, we make sure to celebrate the other day. We do the mileage thing too, especially when there’s a string of 7′s (even on license plates haha)! I think that these little things are what makes love even more special.
