There’s something about the combination of Lush Cosmetics’ Big Shampoo and American Cream Double Strength Conditioner that makes my hair smell sooooo good. Ever since I started using them last December, I received many compliments from ladies smelling my hair from up to 4 feet away! haha I only got the smallest bottle of the American Cream Conditioner, since I didn’t know how I would like it — the smallest size shown on the right is 3.3 fl oz for $8.95, and it lasted me about 3 weeks using it 3 to 4 times per week (keep in mind that I have long hair). Now I wish I had gotten a bigger size (8.4 fl oz for $18.95; 16.9 fl oz for $28.95), because the strawberry vanilla scent is amazing! In addition, American Cream is made of fresh oranges, honey, and clary sage to make your hair softer, shinier, and bouncier (as well as hydrating dry ends)!

Big Shampoo (shown below) only comes in one size… big. It’s a bit pricey for $22.95 for 11.6 oz, but mine lasted for well over 2 months (3 to 4 times per week) and I think it’s well worth the price. This volume-inducing shampoo is made with over 50% fresh sea salt that gives your hair oomph. Big also has avocado butter for softness, lime juice for shine, and seaweed for strength.

At first glance, this shampoo looks a bit odd with all that sea salt. When you first apply it on your hair, it will look like the picture below on the left. Once you gently massage it into your hair, the sea salt easily dissolves and will look like the picture on the right. Coarse salt is very effective in lifting hair from the roots, giving you natural volume. Since my hair is long, I could notice a little more volume and bounce to my hair, but I would imagine that the volume would be even more noticeable on shorter hair.
