Fashion Friday: Episode 56
Posted on March 18, 2011 | 1 CommentMy favorite item in Anthropologie's March 2011 catalog is this Land of Springs Dress. This red and cream striped dress has ripples that cascade down from the neckline to the waist. I love how the design is very Grecian and flattering on different body types. This dress was made by Weston Wear, a company known for designing stylish yet comfortable clothing -- and this dress is definitely that! Read more... -
Remington T-Studio Pearl Ceramic Heated Clip Setter
Posted on March 16, 2011 | 2 CommentsI had a set of hot rollers by Remington that I got in high school, and it lasted me a very long time. I found it recently, but I couldn't use it because I couldn't find the clips (that had to be stored separately from the machine). This setter comes with 20 velvety soft rollers in two sizes -- 8 medium 1" rollers and 12 large 1 1/4" rollers. The hinged clips are also heated. Read more... -
Fun Green Makeup Look
Posted on March 14, 2011 | 11 CommentsSince Saint Patrick's Day is coming up, I came up with this green makeup look to bring me good luck! :) In Irish tradition, green represents Ireland (the "Emerald Isle"), the shamrock, and spring -- so wearing green is a way to get good luck (in addition to finding a four-leaf clover and kissing the Blarney Stone, of course haha). This makeup look has plenty o' green to not get you pinched on Thursday! Read more... -
Fashion Friday: Episode 55
Posted on March 11, 2011 | 3 CommentsThis week's Fashion Friday is a faux leather bomber jacket from Therapy, my favorite local unique clothing and gift boutique. The jacket is made by Obey, and the style is called "Jealous Lover". I was drawn to the design of this jacket because it looks like there is a black hooded sweat jacket inside, without the bulky layering. It also has pockets that are also pockets! Read more... -
Lush Big Shampoo and American Cream Conditioner
Posted on March 9, 2011 | 7 CommentsThere's something about the combination of Lush Cosmetics' Big Shampoo and American Cream Double Strength Conditioner that makes my hair smell sooooo good. Ever since I started using them last December, I received many compliments from ladies smelling my hair from up to 4 feet away! Big is a volume-inducing shampoo made with over 50% fresh sea salt that gives your hair oomph. American Cream has an amazing strawberry vanilla scent! Read more...
