My Easter Basket!

Last Sunday, the “Easter Bunny” brought me a basket of candy and beauty products! I like to save my Easter baskets (and Christmas stockings), and turns out this is the first basket I have that’s made entirely of felt. Here are some pictures of the cute bunny on the front of the basket as well as the goodies!

The picture below is a closeup of everything that’s inside. An Easter basket isn’t complete without candy (at least mine isn’t haha)! I got a bunny PEZ dispenser, M&M’s, and Skittles. :) I also got 4 more boxes of Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Polish Strips, since the “Easter Bunny” has been seeing me applying these strips pretty often the past few months (see my review). The designs are (from left to right on the middle of the picture): “320 Kitty, Kitty”, “340 Girl Flower”, “240 Check It Out”, and “250 Bling It On”. The review I wrote about these show pictures of me wearing Check It Out (black and white houndstooth pattern). I liked that particular design so much that I’ve been wanting to buy another box of it ever since, so I’m glad it showed up in my basket!

I also got a few more nail products (shown on the bottom row of the picture above): Seche Clear Crystal Clear Base Coat and Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat (I haven’t tried these before, but I’ve heard good things about their top coat) as well as another color from Essie’s “French Affair” Collection called “Sand Tropez”. This Essie nail polish is a muted beige color that I’m excited to try. Lastly, I got two makeup items: Maybelline Fit Me Foundation in “210 Sandy Beige” (I’ll have to check that it’s a good match for my skin tone) and L’Oreal Telescopic Waterproof Precision Liquid Eyeliner in “800 Black/Noir”.

My mom and sister got me some Easter goodies as well — a chocolate bunny and 2 Egg Plants! The Egg Plants are ceramic eggs that you crack a hole on the top and water them to grow a flower in it. One egg will grow a pansy and the other a marigold. :) The picture on the right shows something I bought at a nearby candy gift store. I’ve never seen Edible Easter Grass before, so I just had to try it in Green Apple flavor (plus, it’s only 110 calories for the whole bag haha). Yum!

If you’re curious who this mysterious “Easter Bunny” is, I mentioned it in my post about my Easter basket from last year)! ;)
