Subtle Blue and Green Look

I was inspired to do this makeup look from a comment left by one of my readers who thinks blues and greens look weird on her. Monica, this one’s for you! :) I came up with this eye shadow look that combines both blue and green in a subtle way so that it’s not too overpowering yet can still make a bold statement. A few years ago, I didn’t wear much blue or green eye shadow either, but now I love incorporating them in my makeup! I think it’s just a matter of getting used to wearing and seeing yourself in different colors. I found it helpful to start with adding a little blue or green somewhere in your makeup look before you start using more of them. This subtle blue and green look is a good transition to using more of these bright colors (and it’s nice for daytime, too!). :)
