Nintendo DSi XL Character Folio
Posted on May 18, 2011 | Leave a CommentEver since I wrote about getting a Nintendo DSi XL last November, I've been looking for a cute case for it. There are a lot of cases I liked for the smaller Nintendo DS Lite/DSi systems (mainly Hello Kitty ones), but I didn't see any cases big enough to fit the DSi XL that caught my eye. I finally found the perfect cute case -- this Nintendo DSi XL Character Folio in "Star"! This folio keeps my system nice and protected as well as holds 6 game cards. It even folds into a stand! Green Smokey Eye Look
Posted on May 16, 2011 | 10 CommentsIf you love green eye shadow, try this green smokey eye! Apply the darkest green color from your upper lash line up to just past your crease. I like to blend a lighter green color along the entire crease to create a smooth transition between the highlight color and the darkest green. Check out my Purple and Black Smokey Eye and Classic Black Smokey Eye looks too! :) Read more... -
Fashion Friday: Episode 64
Posted on May 13, 2011 | Leave a CommentI was drawn to this cute scoop-back dress when I was shopping at my favorite Therapy boutique. This dress is one of those things that I can turn to on a whim, especially on days when I don't have much time to come up with an outfit. It also works well as a swimsuit cover up! Read more... -
Gray, Brown, and White Look
Posted on May 11, 2011 | 32 CommentsFor this look, I applied a shimmery white eye shadow on my lid just below my crease and surrounded it with dark brown and gray colors. The contrast created by using light and dark colors makes this a dramatic nighttime look. I applied a bright pop of color on my lips to make them stand out. I used Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics OCC Lip Tar in "Harlot" -- it's a gorgeous vibrant cherry red with a coral undertone. Read more... -
MAC “Quite Cute” Lipstick + Look
Posted on May 9, 2011 | 4 CommentsI'm always drawn to purple lipsticks, so I ended up getting MAC's "Quite Cute" lipstick from their newest collection of the same name. This limited edition lipstick has a semi-opaque pale lavender color and has a cremesheen finish. Here are my thoughts on this lipstick and a purple makeup look to go along with it! Read more...
