This Great Dot Maxi Dress is from Anthropologie, and I bought it a couple months ago even though I had my eyes on it for much longer, hoping it would go on sale (and it did)! I didn’t get to wear it until last Sunday though, since this maxi dress is a bit long and has a layered slit in the back that my current sewing skills can’t hem at the moment. As a result, I was in search of tall enough shoes that would allow the dress to barely touch the floor and that I could actually walk in (the wedge that did the job perfectly was featured in Fashion Friday: Episode 68).

This maxi dress was originally $158.00, but I got it on sale for $79.98. I like the classic style of this dress, and it can be worn for many occasions whether formal or casual. It can also be dressed up with a belt and/or a cardigan. I wore this maxi dress with a UK Style by French Collection Gold Metallic Bolero that I bought at Sears for $59.90.
