  • Fashion Friday: Episode 69 - June 17th, 2011
  • Colorfast Apparel has created the ultimate clothing item for all us nerds — a hoodie with headphones built into the drawcord, which connects directly to an iPod/mp3 player via an audio input jack in one of the pockets! This hoodie is not only really well made, comfortably soft, and awesomely functional, it’s also machine washable! There were many times when I wanted to listen to music only to realize that I forgot to bring earphones. This hoodie makes listening to music so convenient!

  • Urban Decay Naked Palette Look 2 - June 15th, 2011
  • This is the second look using the Naked Palette I’ve been writing about lately. I wanted to come up with a bronze makeup look featuring two of the gorgeous bronze eye shadow colors in the palette — Half Baked (bronze) and Toasted (taupe-bronze). Both of these colors are available as single eye shadows in case you want to buy them separately. I used the lightest color in the palette as highlight and one of the darker colors to create some depth on the outer V.

  • Black with Glitter Look - June 13th, 2011
  • This is a glittery take on the Classic Black Smokey Eye. When I add glitter to my eye makeup, I apply all the eye shadows first and then add the glitter. Then I curl my lashes and apply mascara as the last step. For this makeup look, I used one of my favorite and easiest to use glitter products — Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner!

  • Fashion Friday: Episode 68 - June 10th, 2011
  • I’ve really been liking polka dot things lately, so I was excited to see this espadrille wedge that’s navy blue with white polka dots. I actually visited these shoes at my local Macy’s on three separate occasions before deciding to try them on and buy them — that’s how I know I really wanted these sandals! The design is called “Saffire 2″ by Ivanka Trump (she teamed up with Marc Fisher Footwear to design her shoe line). I’m very happy with these comfortable 4 1/2 inch polka dot wedges!

  • Urban Decay Naked Palette Look 1 - June 8th, 2011
  • This is the first makeup look I came up with using eye shadows from the Urban Decay Naked Palette. There are so many neutral looks that you can create with this palette. This look is a darker, more dramatic eye that you can wear out to dinner. I’ll be posting more looks using this palette soon! If you’re also a proud owner of the Naked Palette, I’d love to see what looks you come up with too (email me)! :)
