Nirve Hello Kitty Special Edition Retro Cruiser Bike

I’ve been way overdue for a new bicycle — the last one I had was purple with unicorn stickers and training wheels. Now that I have space to store a bike indoors, I immediately searched for a Hello Kitty one and found this Nirve Hello Kitty Special Edition Retro Kitty 24-inch Cruiser! I found it on Amazon.com for $339.99 with free shipping. I have Amazon Prime (free unlimited 2-day shipping plus free instant streaming of thousands of movies and TV shows for only $79/year!), but it was actually sent to me via FedEx Next Day Air so I got it super fast! This is a single-speed bike with full-length fenders, coaster brake, and welded kickstand. It’s perfect for cruising around the beach or around town!

The picture on the left is the box that the Hello Kitty bike was shipped in. I had to assemble it myself, but I had some help from the fiancĂ©. :) Just keep in mind that when you assemble it, make sure you’re following the instructions for the right sized cruiser because the steps are actually different (there’s a smaller 20″ version for kids). You also need some additional tools to make your life easier (screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, and Allen wrench), but once you have it put together you will be so pleased with how cute it is (as you can see on the right)!

Here are some closeups of the Hello Kitty details throughout the bike. Pictured left is the Hello Kitty retro design on the frame. This design is on both sides, so you can see it from either direction. The frame is painted with two tones of pink with white accents and a pink pearl clear coat. There’s also “Hello Kitty” written above the bike chains, pictured right.

These pictures show the front and back of the bike. I love how you can see Hello Kitty’s face as I peddle away haha :)

The Hello Kitty theme continues with the double-spring saddle as well! The seat is white with pink Hello Kitty details on it, and the back has the Nirve logo also in pink. This cruiser also comes with a small Hello Kitty bell that you attach to the handlebars.

Here’s how my bike looks after I added a wicker basket to it! The basket I got is by Electra, and it’s 20 inches tall. I had to alter the positioning of the front (caliper) brake cable a bit to accommodate the basket, but there are smaller wicker baskets that would work great too.

This 24″ cruiser is ideal for Hello Kitty-loving ladies who prefer a smaller bike and young misses 13+ years old. I really love this bike! I’ll still have to find a cute mountain bike that will make it easier to go on hillier areas, but for cruising around mostly flat areas this bike is all I need. This Retro Kitty Cruiser draws a lot of attention when I bike around town, especially from all those other Hello Kitty fanatics like me. :)
