Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Polish Strips in “Bling It On”
Some of you might already be aware of my fascination with Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Polish Strips. These nail strips last much longer than any nail polish I’ve tried, and they always get lots of compliments (read more about them in my detailed review)! Although I’ve gone through 7 boxes of these Sally Hansen nail strips (and counting!), this is the first one I’ve tried with a glitter finish.
This design is called “250 Bling It On”. These pictures show different shades of pink depending on how the light hits them, so I took these pictures without and with flash, respectively:
The nail strips look medium bright pink when you see it in person. I still favor the Sally Hansen nail strips with patterns on them vs. the single color ones, but I do like the even look of the glitter as well as the smooth (not gritty) feel on my nails. Unfortunately, it wasn’t any easier to take these off compared to other glitter nail polish — but I guess that would be asking for too much? I think these nail strips are still worth it for their overall staying power (I use one box for both fingernails and toenails, and they stay on my fingernails for ~2 weeks and toenails for 1 month).
Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Polish Strips usually run around $8-9/box. I always get both a mani and a pedi out of one box so that I really get my money’s worth! Check out my previous review of these nail strips to see the steps I take to apply these and how I save leftover strips for my toes.
