My first experience shopping at an Inglot store was last November when I was in London, and ever since then I’ve been wanting to visit a store here in the US. I finally made my way to Las Vegas to shop at not one but TWO Inglot locations there — one at The Forum Shops at Caesars and the other at Town Square. While I was in London, I was so excited about their Freedom System palettes that I didn’t get to check out their lipsticks, so I made sure to get a few of them this time around.
This is the first lipstick that really caught my eye at the store — Inglot Lipstick 126 (all Inglot products are numbered instead of named). It’s such a vibrant berry red! In the picture below, I lightly lined my lips with MAC Lip Pencil in “Cherry”, but I did not fill in the entire lip area like I usually do so that you can get a better idea of how the lipstick color looks on its own.
This lipstick also looks nice as a stain if you want more of a natural pop of color on your lips. Just dab some lipstick on the center of your lips and then spread it outwards with a lip brush or press your lips together a few times to spread the color. I like how this lipstick has some shine to it even though it stays put like matte finishes do. Inglot lipsticks have vitamin E and apricot kernel oil moisturizing formula, and this particular shade did not dry my lips. Inglot Cosmetics does not test on animals, and their products are paraben free.
I wore this lipstick on my way to the airport (the simple makeup look I’m wearing in this picture is one of my favorites for traveling — it’s quick yet looks put together). I had to touch up my lipstick after eating lunch, but I actually wouldn’t mind if I had to touch it up more often because the scent of Inglot lipsticks is divine. The fun, fruity scent brings back childhood memories of buying candy from the ice cream truck after school — I almost want to eat the lipstick, but it doesn’t have a taste to it.
If you’re one of the lucky ones to live near an Inglot store or if you plan to browse their online US or Australia store, definitely check out their lipsticks (after you’re done looking at all of their gorgeous eye shadows and eyeliner gels)!
