  • Fashion Friday: Episode 95 - December 16th, 2011
  • Every December I look for a special dress I like to call my “December Dress”. This is the dress that I wear on my birthday as well as to the annual Google Holiday Party. When I go “December Dress” shopping, I usually don’t have a particular style in mind — just whatever catches my eye. However, this year was different since Google decided to have a themed party, which meant I had to put more effort into my outfit. Check out pictures from the party! Can you guess the theme? :)

  • Christmas Tree Makeup Look - December 14th, 2011
  • I’ve been making mix CDs for my mom ever since I got my first CD burner sometime in the 90s. One of my favorites is a Christmas mix that has a song about a lonely Christmas tree. My mom really liked this song after hearing it once on the radio, but she didn’t know most of the lyrics. I eventually surprised her with it in my mix CD. This makeup look is inspired by Stevie Wonder’s “One Little Christmas Tree” — it has a little tree standing in the snow lighting up a gray sky with its gold star. :)

  • Fashion Friday: Episode 94 - December 9th, 2011
  • When I saw this vintage-inspired dress in Anthropologie’s November 2011 catalog, I rushed to the nearest store to try it on. I was looking for a dress to wear for Thanksgiving, and I was hoping this would be it! This goldenrod Fluted Ponte Dress is by Girls from Savoy. The heavier fabric and 3/4 sleeves makes this a great dress for colder weather! If you’re a fan of vintage/retro clothing, definitely try this dress on next time you shop at Anthropologie.

There are 10 LED lights (4 red, 3 blue, and 3 yellow) that are energy efficient and long lasting. :)
