Fashion Friday: Episode 94

When I saw this vintage-inspired dress in Anthropologie’s November 2011 catalog, I rushed to the nearest store to try it on. I was looking for a dress to wear for Thanksgiving, and I was hoping this would be it! This goldenrod frock is by Girls from Savoy (an exclusive clothing line for Anthropologie), and the design is called Fluted Ponte Dress ($158.00). I like the heavier fabric and 3/4 sleeves that makes this a great dress for colder weather. Anything machine washable is always a major plus for me as well!

The dark brown belt is sewn onto the dress and is made of velvet. There’s also a zipper in the back that makes it easy to slip on without potentially messing up your hairdo or touching your makeup. :) If you’re a fan of vintage/retro clothing, definitely try this dress on next time you shop at Anthropologie. I love the simplicity of this dress — it has a classic style that doesn’t go out of style!
