On my way home from Los Angeles, I had a few hours to kill before my flight. I decided to look up the closest Sephora store to do some shopping.
I ended up at a Sephora inside JCPenney store (my first time going to one of these), and I’m glad I did since I came across this Make Up For Ever Wild & Chic Eye Shadow Palette that’s sold exclusively at these locations. Although I’ve collected a lot of eye shadow palettes over the years, this is actually my first one from Make Up For Ever!

This palette comes with 6 pretty eye shadows and a travel-size Aqua Eyes in “Mat Black 0L”. Here are the numbers/color descriptions of each of the eye shadows that come with this palette:
- 84 – Bronze
- 123 – Khaki (khaki green shimmer)
- 152 – Light Pink (pink pearl shimmer)
- 17 – Espresso (matte chocolate brown)
- 122 – Metallic Copper (copper bronze shimmer)
- 126 – Iridescent Yellow Beige (tan beige shimmer)
I’m wearing the last 3 of these eye shadows in the last picture of my review of the NARS Danmari All About Cheeks Palette. Aqua Eyes pencils are waterproof and can be used as an eyeliner or smudged as an eye shadow. I like using the matte black that comes with this palette on my waterline too.

This palette retails for $39.00 — I ended up buying 2 (I gave one to my mom
). The amount of product that comes with the 6 eye shadows is equivalent to 2 1/4 full-size eye shadows for the price of about 2 ($19 per full-size single eye shadow x 2 = $38, but you also get a travel Aqua Eyes pencil that’s a little more than half of a full-size pencil). If you’ve been wanting to try Make Up For Ever eye products, this Wild & Chic Eye Shadow Palette is a great way to get a variety of colors without spending a lot. I like that everything in this palette can be purchased individually, so if you find yourself running out of something you can still buy the colors you love (unlike other palettes that have many limited edition shades). I already bought a full size 17 eye shadow, my favorite in this palette!
