I saw this Free People Fancy Lace Dress on display at Bloomingdale’s and was drawn to the cute details that enhance this nude-colored dress. There are silver metallic foil embellishments that look like tiny silver flowers/leaves stamped all over the fabric. I adore the ruffle trim at the hem as well as a tiny ruffle along the bottom of the smocked waistband. I was also drawn to the black lace inset on the skirt to match the black leggings and high boots I like to wear with dresses during cold weather.

The dress also comes with a nude slip lining, so you can wear this dress on its own. Since it has a plunging V-neckline on the front (and back), I wore a sheer black chiffon blouse underneath for a more conservative look (and for some warmth, too). My favorite part about this long-sleeve top is the tie at the neck that instantly adds a cute bow to any outfit.
This Put A Bow On It! Top is also by Free People, but I purchased it at Bloomingdale’s as well during a 20% off sale (originally $98.00; $78.40 on sale). The dress is regularly $168.00, but I recently saw it at Macy’s on sale for $89.99!

What a gorgeous dress!!! I love the lace and I think it would look great with or without the black blouse. I also love the black blouse too!
Whaa! So cute and sweet. Almost loli-like.
Thanks Lily! I’ve worn it without the black blouse too, but I got cold haha
Thanks Eden-Avalon! You’re right — it does somewhat resemble that style! And probably even more if I wear it with a petticoat.
