This is my first makeup look using eye shadows from the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette. I applied the shimmery pale beige-gray color called “Verve” on the center lid to create a glow against the darker brown colors. I also used the travel-size Lip Junkie Lipgloss that comes with this palette. This is an everyday look that works great for both day and night! If you’re also a proud owner of the Naked 2 Palette, I’d love to see makeup looks you come up with too!
Whenever I go to the drug store, I’m on the lookout for the latest Sally Hansen nail strip designs. I saw a display at CVS for five limited edition designs for this spring. I ended up buying two of them — colorful birds on a silvery white background called “Not a Peep!” and white with pink polka dots called “Pink-a-dot”. Check out my previous review on these nail strips for a step-by-step guide on how to apply them!
I am a proud owner of the original Naked palette and have made several looks using it, so I wasn’t in a rush to buy Naked 2 or any other palette for quite some time. Now that I have Naked 2 (after receiving so many requests about it!), I’m really liking the range of colors and finishes — possibly even more than the original! Check out the eye shadow swatches, closeups of the double-ended brush, and how the Lip Junkie Lipgloss looks on my lips. Find out if this palette is right for you!

Inspired by playful food seen in Japanese bento boxes, Williams-Sonoma came out with this set of four cute egg-design molds for $10.00. In just a few minutes, you can turn an ordinary hard-boiled egg into edible art! This set comes with a star, heart, bear, and bunny. Hard-boiled eggs transformed into a star or heart look especially great cut in half when preparing deviled eggs. I like making bears and bunnies to decorate a dish. Follow along to see how I made a bunny egg!
