Whenever I go to the drug store, I’m on the lookout for the latest Sally Hansen nail strip designs. I saw the display shown below for five limited edition designs for this spring. I ended up buying two of them — colorful birds on a silvery white background called “Not a Peep!” and white with pink polka dots called “Pink-a-dot”. I bought these at CVS at full price for $9.99 each, but I usually see Sally Hansen products on sale quite often (like right now, they are $7.99).
I tried “Not a Peep!” a few days ago, and here’s how it turned out. The birds are not that noticeable unless you look closely at them. I found these to be a bit flimsier when I applied them compared to other Sally Hansen nail strips I’ve tried before. I also found that these started to chip after 2-3 days and I ended up removing them after 1 week, whereas I usually get them to last 2 weeks.
Check out my previous review on these nail strips for a step-by-step guide on how to apply them. Hopefully the polka dot ones will turn out better! I’ll post pictures when I put them on!
