Galileo Galilei was a famous Italian mathematician, astronomer, and physicist who (among many other things) invented and improved several instruments that made measurements more accurate. This 24″-tall thermometer is based on Galileo’s discovery that a liquid’s buoyancy decreases as its temperature increases. This sealed glass cylinder contains 11 multi-colored floating spheres, each having different weights that rise and fall at different temperatures.

Do you have a lot of eraser shavings, broken pieces of mechanical pencil lead, and little pieces of paper on your desk? I usually do after a long physics problem set. I wish I had found this robo vacuum sooner (now that I graduated, my desk is too clean). Robo Vacum is a battery-operated (2 AA) gadget that picks up all those little unwanted debris on your table.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with mimobots, they are designer USB flash drives. This paricular mimobot has various Hello Kitty wallpapers, icons, screensavers, and avatars in a zip file contained in the USB drive.

Have you ever needed a paper clip, but couldn’t find one? This paper clip necklace will solve your problem, and add a little style to your wardrobe at the same time!

A t-shirt all nerd-loving girls should have!
