Claudio Riaz Instant Brow Brush
Posted on April 10, 2010 | 3 CommentsClaudio Riaz is a celebrity makeup artist who created a collection of brushes sold at Barneys New York. I came across his Instant Brow brush 2 years ago when I visited a small cosmetics store called The Cos Bar in Carmel, CA. This brush is part of a collection that took Claudio Riaz 5 years to develop, which apparently involved him cutting and angling brushes by hand, measuring various women's lids and eye curves, and trying out different manufacturers. This is my most expensive brush, but it has the perfect shape and type of bristle to pick up the right amount of product and create a nice shape quickly as well as groom my brows at the same time. L’Oreal HiP Color Chrome Eyeliner Review + Look
Posted on April 8, 2010 | 7 CommentsAfter trying out the new Mianli Liquif'Eye Metallic Eye Liner Pencil and MAC Pearlglide Intense Eye Liners, I figured why not also try the L'Oreal HiP ones too! Like the Milani pencils, L'Oreal HiP Color Chrome pencils also have a metallic finish (whereas MAC Pearlglides are shimmery). MAC Pearlglide Intense Eye Liners
Posted on April 7, 2010 | 1 CommentMAC Pearlglide Intense Eye Liners are part of the Art Supplies collection that launched in stores last Thursday, April 1, 2010. My favorite is "Undercurrent", a beautiful blue teal. My second favorite is "Designer Purple", because it's very vibrant. See all 6 shades here! Read more... -
Milani Liquif’Eye Metallic Eye Liner Pencil
Posted on March 24, 2010 | 7 CommentsMilani is one of my favorite drugstore makeup brands. They just launched new eye liner pencils this spring, and I bought one in silver this past weekend. I am really amazed by this pencil. It works great, glides on smoothly, and lasts all day. Read more... -
MAC Too Fabulous Review + Inspired Look
Posted on March 8, 2010 | 5 CommentsMAC Cosmetics launched the Too Fabulous collection online on March 2, 2010 and in stores on March 4, 2010. I picked up two items from this collection: Mineralize Blush Duo in "Rhapsody in Two" and Lip Pencil in "In Synch". This is a hot pink look that I came up with using both this blush and lip pencil.
