I recently had the opportunity to try out several mineral eye shadows from Beauty From The Earth. Crystal, President of BFTE Cosmetics, sent me this 16-piece sample set that comes with a tin case. Each sample comes with 0.5g of product. On my way home from Los Angeles, I had a few hours to kill before my flight so I looked up the closest Sephora store to do some shopping. :) I ended up at a Sephora inside JCPenney store and came across this Make Up For Ever Wild & Chic Eye Shadow Palette that's sold exclusively at these locations. The Danmari All About Cheeks Palette is a great way to try out some of the most popular NARS cheek products. This limited-edition holiday palette comes with 6 cheek powders that include a bronzer, a highlighter, and a nice mix of blush colors (including the famous "Orgasm", of course). Not only do I come up with a blue and gold makeup look for the Cal vs. Stanford football game each year, I also like to do something school-spirited with my nails. I tried OPI's "Black Shatter" crackle nail polish back in January 2011, and I really liked it. So when I saw this navy blue Sally Hansen Crackle Overcoat at my local drugstore, I thought this would be a great way to combine my school colors! MAC Glitter and Ice Paint Pot in “For Effect”

MAC released their Glitter and Ice Collection for Holiday 2011 at the end of October. There are three limited edition Paint Pots included in this collection, and this black with pearl one called "For Effect" is the one that impressed me the most. The color can look anything between a light gray to a gunmetal gray/black depending on how much you apply. This paint pot is great for smokey and wintery makeup looks!
