Essie French Affair Nail Polish
Posted on April 20, 2011 | 2 CommentsEssie released a collection called "French Affair" for Spring 2011. This collection has 6 new nail polish shades in retro pastels as well as neutrals, all inspired by French glamour. Sticking with the pastel theme of my last makeup look, I wanted to try out one of the pastel shades called "French Affair". This color is a very retro 1960s pale pink! Read more... -
Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel Bronzing Makeup Base
Posted on April 13, 2011 | 8 CommentsI've been wanting to try Chanel's Soleil Tan de Chanel Bronzing Makeup Base (also known as Bronze Universel), but I kept putting off buying one since it's pricey. I saw it at a store while on vacation and decided to finally splurge on it -- and I'm so glad I did! I've been using this product everyday since I brought it home. :) I don't think this is for everyone though, but if you read my review and find that it's something that would work for you, then I think it's definitely worth the investment! Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara
Posted on March 21, 2011 | 8 CommentsThe very last step of my makeup routine is applying mascara, so I tend to rush putting it on. However, if I go too fast over my bottom lashes, I usually have to go back and clean up mascara mess. The bigger the mascara wand, the easier it is to make mistakes when going over shorter eyelashes. Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara has a tiny wand that's perfect for quick, mess-free application! Read more... -
Remington T-Studio Pearl Ceramic Heated Clip Setter
Posted on March 16, 2011 | 2 CommentsI had a set of hot rollers by Remington that I got in high school, and it lasted me a very long time. I found it recently, but I couldn't use it because I couldn't find the clips (that had to be stored separately from the machine). So I ended up buying this Remington T-Studio Pearl Ceramic Heated Clip Setter hoping it would be as good as my old hot rollers. This setter comes with 20 velvety soft rollers in two sizes -- 8 medium 1" rollers and 12 large 1 1/4" rollers. The hinged clips are also heated. Read more... -
Lush Big Shampoo and American Cream Conditioner
Posted on March 9, 2011 | 7 CommentsThere's something about the combination of Lush Cosmetics' Big Shampoo and American Cream Double Strength Conditioner that makes my hair smell sooooo good. Ever since I started using them last December, I received many compliments from ladies smelling my hair from up to 4 feet away! Big is a volume-inducing shampoo made with over 50% fresh sea salt that gives your hair oomph. American Cream has an amazing strawberry vanilla scent! Read more...
