On Saturday, March 6, 2010, I held my first makeup event for nerdygirlmakeup.com with the help of my sisters — Wyette with makeup and Kimmi with cooking hors d’oeuvres. I had so much fun meeting new people and doing makeovers. We had a total of 12 guests that came out to the event to watch and/or get a makeover.
I purchased this light blue and cream woven tunic. I like the floral lace overlay and the silver beads along the neckline. The beads extend down the back as well — it looks really pretty since it’s actually a t-back.
I got these super cute sandals at Nordstrom’s a couple weeks ago. The brand is called Poetic Licence (imported), and the style is “Bloomingbird”. The weather’s been a little too cold to wear these, but I decided to get them anyway in case I couldn’t find them again in the spring/summer time. I really like the blue color and the sequined bows!
This is a black and white leaf-print dress that has cute rhinestones on the leaves. I paired it with leggings that have silver rivets down each leg.
I painted stems on my thumb nails and applied heart and pearl nail decorations to create a rose design for Valentine’s Day.
