Fashion Friday: Episode 95
Posted on December 16, 2011 | 4 CommentsEvery December I look for a special dress I like to call my "December Dress". This is the dress that I wear on my birthday as well as to the annual Google Holiday Party. When I go "December Dress" shopping, I usually don't have a particular style in mind -- just whatever catches my eye. However, this year was different since Google decided to have a themed party, which meant I had to put more effort into my outfit. Check out pictures from the party! Can you guess the theme? :) Read more... -
Fashion Friday: Episode 94
Posted on December 9, 2011 | Leave a CommentWhen I saw this vintage-inspired dress in Anthropologie's November 2011 catalog, I rushed to the nearest store to try it on. I was looking for a dress to wear for Thanksgiving, and I was hoping this would be it! This goldenrod Fluted Ponte Dress is by Girls from Savoy. The heavier fabric and 3/4 sleeves makes this a great dress for colder weather! If you're a fan of vintage/retro clothing, definitely try this dress on next time you shop at Anthropologie. Fashion Friday: Episode 93
Posted on December 2, 2011 | 2 CommentsAnd the sequins continue from last Fashion Friday! This time I got this Medal of Honor Sequin Mini Skirt at Betsey Johnson during their Black Friday Frenzy. I attended a VIP event at my nearby Betsey Johnson store the Tuesday before Black Friday. They gave out cupcakes, champagne, and 40% off entire purchase! I had already been eying this skirt, so I was happy to get it on sale. This sequined skirt comes in black as well, but this crimson red really stands out and looks so festive! Read more... -
Fashion Friday: Episode 92
Posted on November 25, 2011 | 1 Comment'Tis the season for sequins! They are a great way to add some sparkle and shine to your outfit. :) One thing that annoys me about sequins though is when they're placed on a garment in such a way that it comes in contact with my neck, arms, waist, and/or legs and those pretty plastic disks end up scratching me when I move around. That's why I was relieved to find these Sequined Track Shorts at Free People -- it's a great way to comfortably wear some sequins! Read more... -
Fashion Friday: Episode 91
Posted on November 18, 2011 | Leave a CommentI mainly shop at Free People stores when I want to buy Free People clothing, but I also like to check for Free People bargains elsewhere. I've found great deals from Macy's sale racks (like the dress featured in Episode 84). This black slip dress and FP New Romantics Fringe Sleeve Top are bargains I found at Marshalls for much less than they were listed on Free People's website! The white crochet top is a unique layering piece, and the black slip can be worn alone or under a dress. Read more...
