However, I like finding items that can totally transform wardrobe or accessories that I already have. I bought a cute pair of Betsey Johnson socks that has a nice design down the front and a little pink rose adorned on the top. Another thing I love about this outfit (besides the price) is it gives me a lot of flexibility on colors to wear for my makeup (since I usually base my makeup looks on what I'm wearing). :) Read more... -

Low-Maintenance Highlights
Posted on July 14, 2010 | Leave a CommentUsually "low-maintenance highlights" for me means peek-a-boo lowlights that only cover a small triangular section of hair behind each ear. Although the placement of these types of lowlights can look great for several months without needing touch-up, they don't add too much color to my hair. This time around, I wanted to come up with a low-maintenance highlight look that can be very bold yet can still grow out without the roots being too visible. Read more... -

Posted on July 9, 2010 | 5 CommentsThis is an outfit I threw together from three pieces from American Apparel: Printed Cotton Spandex Jersey High-Waist Skirt, Multi-Layered Reversible Petticoat, and The Sash. American Apparel has many garments that can be worn in several different ways. For example, I wore the black and white polka dot skirt as a dress and added the petticoat on the bottom to add length and volume. I love buying these types of clothing that can transform other things in my wardrobe, especially the petticoat! Read more...
