    Fashion Friday: Episode 67

I started noticing that a lot of the clothes that I end up buying at Therapy stores (an indie clothing boutique in the San Francisco Bay Area) can also be found on ModCloth.com. I was really happy to find this out since I try to write about things I like that are available online in case my readers want to get them too. :) This week, I got this taupe and cream squiggly-striped Bow Front Stripe Frock at Therapy -- it's called Sand Sculptor Dress on ModCloth. I love the round bow collar! Read more...

Make Up For Ever Aqua Smoky Lash Mascara

After happily going through two tubes of Maybelline The Falsies Mascara (see my review), I decided to try out Make Up For Ever Aqua Smoky Lash Mascara to see how it compares. Nordstrom is having their Half-Yearly Sale for women and kids going on now through Sunday, June 5! I stopped by my local Nordstrom store on the first day of the sale (Wednesday, May 25th) to look at some shoes. I ended up buying two pairs of heels -- a black polka dot "Apple Pie" heel from Poetic Licence and a black patent leather "Shimmer Sandal" by Michael Kors! Read more...

    Maker Faire 2011 + Haul

Maker Faire, the ultimate DIY festival, was here last weekend in the SF Bay Area. This is one of my favorite times of the year — when nerds of all ages come together for an event that encourages learning, being creative, and exploring arts, crafts, engineering, and sciences. Here are the cute items by local artists/designers and a totally useless electronics kit I hauled! Also check out a needle felted rose hair clip that I made from materials I bought at last year's Maker Faire. :) Read more...
