    Fashion Friday: Episode 64

    I was drawn to this cute scoop-back dress when I was shopping at my favorite Therapy boutique. There's a strip of the same floral fabric on the bottom of the dress that helps the scoop-back top stay nicely in place on my shoulders. This dress is one of those things that I can turn to on a whim, especially on days when I don't have much time to come up with an outfit. It also works well as a swimsuit cover up! Read more...

    Gray, Brown, and White Look

    For this look, I applied a shimmery white eye shadow on my lid just below my crease and surrounded it with dark brown and gray colors. The contrast created by using light and dark colors makes this a dramatic nighttime look. I applied a bright pop of color on my lips to make them stand out. I used Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics OCC Lip Tar in "Harlot" -- it's a gorgeous vibrant cherry red with a coral undertone. Read more...

    MAC “Quite Cute” Lipstick + Look

    I'm always drawn to purple lipsticks, so I ended up getting MAC's "Quite Cute" lipstick from their newest collection of the same name.     Fashion Friday: Episode 63

    The weather has been really nice lately, so I wanted to get some new shorts. I bought two shorts from Anthropologie that are both featured on their new May 2011 catalog. The blue Gerbera Shorts has beautiful brown embroidery of African daisies on both front and back. These shorts are cut straight without any pleating, so I love how they don't flare out. The other pair of shorts has dragonfly print, and it comes with a sash made of the same fabric. Read more...
