MAC Glitter and Ice Paint Pot in “For Effect”
Posted on November 14, 2011 | 2 CommentsMAC released their Glitter and Ice Collection for Holiday 2011 at the end of October. There are three limited edition Paint Pots included in this collection, and this black with pearl one called "For Effect" is the one that impressed me the most. The color can look anything between a light gray to a gunmetal gray/black depending on how much you apply. This paint pot is great for smokey and wintery makeup looks! See pictures of swatches and how I like to apply it -- the silver sparkle is so pretty! Read more... -

Posted on November 11, 2011 | Leave a CommentI like this Miles of Lace Dress from Free People so much that I ended up buying it in both colors it comes in -- Grey and Alabaster. The sheer lace dress has a pretty floral pattern, and it comes with a removable slip dress underneath. These dresses are very versatile -- they can be dressed up or down. If you've been wanting a pretty lace dress that is really comfortable (not scratchy or itchy at all) and is sturdy enough to throw in the washing machine, this Miles of Lace Dress is perfect! Urban Decay 15 Year Anniversary Palette Look
Posted on November 9, 2011 | 8 CommentsI wasn't sure if I should buy the Urban Decay 15 Year Anniversary Palette at first, since I'm very much content with my Naked Palette. However, I was sold after swatching Junkshow (bright pink with fuchsia shift) and Deep End (bright teal shimmer) -- they're gorgeous (and the other colors are nice too)! Here's my first look using this palette, featuring Junkshow and Deep End as pops of colors to this otherwise neutral look. :) Read more... -

Fashion Friday: Episode 89
Posted on November 4, 2011 | Leave a CommentAs soon as the weather gets too cold for open-toe flats and sandals, I dig out my UGG Australia boots that tend to get buried in my closet over the summer. Over the years I have acquired 4 pairs of the classic UGG boots (2 of which I donated and replaced with the other 2). When I saw the new style of UGG Australia boots with heels, I knew I'd have to get a pair because I really like how they look -- they're stylish and more versatile without losing the warmth and coziness of the classic ones!
