After I purchased my first Chanel Illusion d’Ombre eyeshadow in “Mirifique”, I was hooked! I’ve acquired a few of these Illusion d’Ombre eye shadows over the past few months as a result. I purchased this gold one called “89 Vision” when I was in Europe earlier this month. The sparkle on these eye shadows are so beautiful, and they have very minimal fallout for a product packed with so much shimmer. Check out the swatch to see the gorgeous gold sparkle!
I originally bought this beautiful pair of Chanel Pearl Pumps for my wedding. These two-toned satin pumps are covered in elegant ivory pearls and have a black sequin cap toe. The back of the shoes have a stripe of black sequins adorned with a gold CC logo. This Chanel pump is available in very limited quantities at Neiman Marcus. Since I am no longer saving these heels for the wedding, I decided to finally post pictures of them!
I’m not one to splurge a lot on shoes (purses are my weakness), but on my way out of Nordstrom these flats caught my eye. I saw a similar black quilting like my latest purse from a distance, so I had to take a closer look. I immediately fell in love with these but not with the price, so I left them at the store but they never left my mind. After saving up for a while, I got my first pair of high end designer shoes (which I blame on my weakness for purses)! See pictures of my Chanel “Ballerinas”!
I finally splurged on the super gorgeous Chanel Illusion d’Ombre Long Wear Luminous Eyeshadow in “85 Mirifique”. This eye shadow has a gel-based formula that feels light like a mousse yet is thick like a cream. Because of the unique texture, it applies easily as an eyeshadow or eyeliner! The colors in this Illusion d’Ombre line are intensely shimmery, but without any of the annoying fallout that is common with sparkle-packed eye shadows. Take a look at the sparkly swatches!
My fiancé surprised me with the ultimate birthday (and Christmas) present — one of the most timeless purses of all time! He picked out this Chanel Classic Flap Bag in black lambskin with silver hardware. This purse is also known as the 2.55 bag, the number referring to February 1955 when Coco Chanel designed the initial version of this handbag. I know that this bag was a big purchase (and an even bigger surprise!), but it’s definitely a classic purse that will always be in style. <3
