I remember reading a comment from Monica on my Glittery Teal and Brown Look about how she wasn’t comfortable wearing blue and green eye shadows. I sent her a link to one of my makeup looks that combines both blue and green that I wanted her to try someday. This past weekend I got an email from Monica saying that after a few tries, she now LOVES blues and greens! Here’s how her makeup turned out!
Kayla wrote to me a couple weeks ago asking for advice on what makeup she could wear for prom. She likes blue eye shadow, but her prom dress is bright aqua blue and she didn’t want to overdo the blue on her eyes. I recommended the placement of blue on my Gold, Brown, and Teal Makeup Look, and she ended up creating her own version for prom. Check out Kayla’s gray, silver, and blue prom makeup, and read her tips on how she applied it!
Reader Rachel came up with a muted/pastel version of my Colorful Makeup Look using her Sephora Blockbuster Palette from 2009. This is a great look for anyone who wants to wear lots of colors in a subtle way. I really like how her makeup look turned out and how each color smoothly transitions to the next! Rachel explains what colors she used and where, so that you can give it a try too! Thanks Rachel!
I love getting pictures from my readers with makeup looks they’ve come up with! This Fan Look features Monica, who I got to know through comments on my posts and through e-mail. She came up with this pretty pink makeup look using Almay Intense i-Color Eyeshadow Trio for Hazels, which you can find at your local drug store. Here are pictures of her look, and how you can do it too!
Reader Emily is back with a gorgeous Fan Look! She submitted a makeup look back in August showing us how she used her CoverGirl Eye Enhancers 4-Kit Shadows in “Tropical Fusion”. Now she has a new look using the CoverGirl Eye Enhancers 3-Kit Shadows in “Dazzling Metallics”. She knows how to wear these CoverGirl eye shadows really well!
